On Kathmandu to Jakarta flights, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kathmandu to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The "Next Segment" Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kathmandu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover in Singapore Changi Airport, you can make the most of a wide range of amenities, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. For longer layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to schedules and eligibility.
