For flights between Zurich and Bangkok, our baggage policy is based on the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg, Business Class passengers 40kg, and First Class passengers 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance will be indicated on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Zurich to Bangkok once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Zurich but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may use facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities, from themed gardens and art installations to rest areas, transit hotels, and family zones, making even short layovers comfortable. For longer connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and timing. If you prefer to stay airside, you will find showers, spa services, quiet zones, and a wide range of dining and shopping options across the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Bangkok operates on Indochina Time (UTC+7) all year and does not observe daylight saving. This means Bangkok is 6 hours ahead of Zurich in winter, and 5 hours ahead in summer.
