For flights between Colombo and Milan, the weight concept applies for checked baggage. Checked baggage: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg on the Singapore to Milan sector. Business Class includes 40kg on both sectors. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage: in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, you may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. In Business Class, you may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Colombo to Milan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Colombo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover is at least about 5.5–6 hours and timing permits, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and operating hours.
