For flights between New York and Hangzhou, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. Checked baggage: Premium Economy Class customers may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg, and Business Class customers may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual piece must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

For example, if you fly Economy from New York but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. If you have a longer layover that meets the minimum time required by the airports official transit tour programme, you may be able to join a guided tour into the city, subject to timing and immigration requirements.
